panther creek trout fishing

Most anglers are familiar with fishing with live worms, but unfortunately don't do it properly. This is especially when it comes to native rainbows.

Keep your thinking caps on while fishing and also just hang loose while the fish size you up. Fishing also get's you out in nature. Know also the kind of food they feed, whether they eat anchovies, herring, or squid, and make your bait look injured.

Most of my free time was spent on lakes and streams here in the northwest, and I have picked up on some interesting facts about fishing for these species over the years. The bottom line is that light line and gear needs to be used when fishing for trout, especially in small rivers and streams. Gang hooks are simply a pair of small hooks tied in tandem, thus enabling you to present a live worm in an outstretched and natural manner.

Simply by paying attention to the weather and moon, and planning your fishing outings accordingly. Begin using any or all of these tips and you will catch more fish, it's as simple as that.
